A Spring Yin Yoga & Sound Session
A two hour yin yoga and sound session in celebration of Spring.
Honoring and living with the cycles of nature is very potent for our mental, physical and spiritually wellbeing.
Spring is the season of rebirth and renewal. As we start to awaken from the slumber of winter our bodies can sometimes feel sluggish and disorientated. Winter to Spring can be a challenging transition, especially within out Scottish climate.
Come take time out to restore and rejuvenate as we prepare our bodies for the awakening of spring.
The workshop will begin with breathing and meditation before moving into a yin yoga sequence. We will end with a sound bath.
Wear loose, warm clothing (leggings, jumpers and fluffy socks!) and bring extra blankets/pillows if you wish. You want to be as comfortable as possible. Mats and props will be provided.
Yin yoga is a slow practice based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. We hold postures for a longer period of time, roughly 2-4 minutes and fully relax. Yin yoga targets our connective tissues and is very relaxing.
